1.Boxing Day: is a holiday traditionally celebrated the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradespeople would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses or employers.Today, Boxing Day is the bank holiday that generally takes place on 26 December.

2.Mass(liturgy):"Mass" is one of the names by which the sacrament of the Eucharist is commonly called in the Catholic Church. The "Holy and Divine Liturgy" and "Holy Communion".The term Mass often colloquially refers to the entire church service in general.

3.Eucharist:also called Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper,is a Christian sacrament. Jesus Christ during his Last Supper. Giving his disciples bread and wine during the Passover meal, Jesus commanded his followers to "do this in memory of me," while referring to the bread as "my body" and the wine as "my blood."

4.Passover or Pesach:is an important biblically derived Jewish festival. The Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation over 3,300 years ago by God from slavery in ancient Egypt that was ruled by the Pharaohs, and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses.

5.Moses:according to the Hebrew Bible, a former Egyptian prince later turned prophet, religious leader and lawgiver, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew.

 

6.Promised Land:is the land promised or given by God, according to the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), to the Israelites, the descendants of Jacob.The promised land was described in terms of the territory from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates river and was given to their descendants after Moses led the Exodus out of Egypt.

7.Joshua:is a figure in the Torah, being one of the spies for Israel  and identified in several passages as Moses' assistant.he became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses. His name was Hoshe'a (the son of Nun), of the tribe of Ephraim.

8.-logy-: a particular science or subject, ex: geology, sociology, psychology

9.-ship: rank, status, skill, or relationship of the stated type, ex: championship, friendship, partnership

   e.g. They enroll him as a member of the club.

11.re-:again,back, down, ex:recall,refresh, reverse
