課程內容(新知識)- A man of literature or a man of letters=a man of wide reading,imagination.
- What is literature?(beautiful,intellectual,emotional,artistical,imagination)
- Why we have to learn literature?(psychological,spiritual,humanity)
- Analytical approach:plot,character,setting,point of view(omniscient全知觀點),etc.
- Thematic Approach:"What is the story,the poem,the play or the essay about?"
- Beowulf,完成於八世紀的英雄敘事長詩,是以古英語記載中最古老的一篇
- di字首=>separate one thing into two things(ex. distinct,different divide divergent)
